Version V4.10 Released

A new version of Flight Plan for DJI, v4.10, was approved by the App Store and went public on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2019. v4.10 upgraded Flight Plan to the latest DJI SDK and added support for several new drone types. Version V4.9.10 Released

A new version of Flight Plan for DJI, v4.9.10, was approved by the App Store and went public on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019. v4.9.10 includes several app improvements including improved camera and exposure settings, better no fly zone colors, Mavic 2 FPV support, and several small improvements.

Version v4.9.5 Released

A new version of Flight Plan for DJI, v4.9.5, was approved by the App Store and went public on Friday, March 15th, 2019. v4.9.5 contains one of the most requested features, resumable flights from the point the previous flight ended. This feature will be a huge time saver for those doing surveying/agriculture work when covering large areas. You can now stop flight plans at any point, change out batteries, and resume from the exact point you stopped. Previous versions of the app required resumed missions to start from the last completed waypoint. <p> This version also contains several app improvements, full release notes are available <a href="http://flightplan.beyondthecube.ca/dji/notifications/33">here</a> <p> Development has started on the next release which will focus grid flights and general time savers for surveying. Features on the dev list are: <ul> <li> Corridor mapping</li> <li>Supporting slopes and variable altitudes</li> <li>Auto saving flight plans and progress so you can close the app and resume flights</li> </ul>

Version v4.9.4 Released

A new version of Flight Plan for DJI, v4.9.4, was approved by the App Store and went public on Monday, February 18th, 2019. v4.9.4 upgrades the DJI SDK, DJI recommends upgrading to the newer version as soon as possible because of a potential defect (done lands) when fail safe RTH is entered in some locations. If you are using an older version please upgrade. <p> The new version contains some small fixes as well: <ul> <li>The pre-flight checklist has been upgraded to the latest version provided by DJI and has several fixes. <li>The camera control component has been upgraded to the latest version provided by DJI. </ul> <p> Development has started on the next release which will focus on resumable missions from the point at which the previous mission ended. Currently, resumable missions restart from the last completed waypoint. This feature will help with surveying areas with long runs. Welcome to our new website

Welcome to our new website. We are getting ready for the 2019 season and have been working on updating the app and website. <p>Flight Plan will be getting some new features over the next 2 months. The next version, v4.9.4, is ready to release and should be publicly available by Monday February 18th. v4.9.4 contains an updated DJI SDK and improvements to the pre-flight checklist and camera controls. The following releases will focus on agriculture grid missions and will include area calculations and resumeable flights from the point at which the previous mission ended. <p>Please continue to update the app as new release become available and check the website for app news.
