US government adds DJI to Commerce blacklist over ties to Chinese government

We are currently unable to update the app on the app store because of issues between the US Government and China. While trying to release our latest virtual stick waypoint missions for the DJI Mini and DJI Mavic Air 2 we have come across some unfortunate news. Our submission was rejected by Apple and upon following up with DJI we received this email: Dear Client Thank you for contacting DJI. Currently MFI Program has been suspended because of America government, we are still investigating the solution. We will update with you once the solution has came out. Hopefully our solution can help you. We are getting a new drone icon for our maps

We are getting a new drone icon for our maps. The old red plane was not cutting it anymore. It is surprisingly hard to design a directional drone icon that looks good on a map. Mavic Air 2 Waypoint Missions

The next major release of Flight Plan is in beta test, it will add Mavic Air 2 waypoint mission support and allow for free-form and grid flight plans. Mavic Mini Waypoint MIssions

The next major release of Flight Plan is in beta test, it will add Mavic Mini waypoint mission support and allow for free-form and grid flight plans. The Mini will be able to fly these missions but it won't do it the same way other drones fly them. DJI has not released true waypoint missions for the Mini leaving fewer options available to third-party app developers. We have completed a virtual stick waypoint system that requires the drone to remain in radio communication with the app at all times. The app virtually controls the joysticks and flies the mission for you. While it is not ideal we are achieving very good results and are able to fly accurate grid missions. This will allow the Mavic Mini to be used as a grid flight platform for surveying, sars, and agricultural work.
