Version v4.9.5 Released
A new version of Flight Plan for DJI, v4.9.5, was approved by the App Store and went public on Friday, March 15th, 2019. v4.9.5 contains one of the most requested features, resumable flights from the point the previous flight ended. This feature will be a huge time saver for those doing surveying/agriculture work when covering large areas. You can now stop flight plans at any point, change out batteries, and resume from the exact point you stopped. Previous versions of the app required resumed missions to start from the last completed waypoint.
This version also contains several app improvements, full release notes are available here
Development has started on the next release which will focus grid flights and general time savers for surveying. Features on the dev list are:
- Corridor mapping
- Supporting slopes and variable altitudes
- Auto saving flight plans and progress so you can close the app and resume flights
